Meet Amanda
I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I later completed LSU’s Paralegal Studies Program, earning my certificate in 2005. Shortly thereafter, I began my legal career as a personal injury legal assistant with Miller and Hampton Attorneys.
After more than five years of experience as a legal assistant, I pursued my Juris Doctor at Southern University Law Center while continuing to work full-time with the firm. During law school, my prior experience contributed to my success, and I was recognized with awards in Advanced Legal Writing and Legal Research. I earned my Juris Doctor in 2013, and the firm was subsequently renamed Miller, Hampton, & Hilgendorf.
In 2025, I made the decision to establish my own practice.
Throughout my career, I have handled a wide range of personal injury and employment law matters, including claims under Title VII, state discrimination laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and unpaid wage disputes.
I am passionate about helping individuals who have been treated unfairly—whether by insurance companies or employers—and I take pride in advocating for everyday people like myself.
